Vitamin D:
NHS advice is that everyone should consider taking a Vitamin D supplement during the Autumn and Winter months.

Vitamin D can additionally be sourced from sunlight from about late March/early April to the end of September, the body creates vitamin D from direct sunlight on the skin when outdoors. It is also still important to keep skin safe in the sun.

Vitamin D is also found in a small number of foods. Sources include:

  • Oily fish – such as salmon, sardines, herring, and mackerel
  • Red meat
