As a result of the coronavirus outbreak we are ceasing all face to face clinics.
You will receive a telephone call next week (week beginning 20th March) regarding care in the coming weeks.
Thank you for your understanding at this time.

Diabetes Service

Our team of diabetes specialist nurses works closely with consultants at the James Paget University Hospital and local GPs to provide patients with expert care and support.

We run regular community clinics across Great Yarmouth and Waveney. Patients are supported to set goals and develop their own care plan for managing their condition. Our staff will help you to identify ways to improve your health and signpost you to organisations who can offer further support including Sentinel Leisure Trust, Active Norfolk and OneLife Suffolk as well as other local groups close to where you live.

Our diabetes specialist nurses work closely with our Podiatry team to ensure good foot health is achieved and, if problems do occur, that rapid review and treatment will be available from consultant specialists in endocrinology, vascular surgery, podiatrists and specialists in skin health at a weekly Foot Care Clinic held at the James Paget University Hospital.

Patients are referred to our service by their GP practices and, once known to the service, can contact the team directly.
