ECCH gives money to local charities

A charity which supports children with life limiting illnesses and another which helps people to get active have received funding boosts from East Coast Community Healthcare (ECCH).

East Anglian Children’s Hospices has received £1,000 which was raised by staff through their annual awards event

A further £1,000 was given to Caister Walking Football Club which supports male and female players over 40 who want to improve their health or have suffered mental or physical illness. This money came from ECCH’s East Coast Support Fund to which staff can apply on behalf of charities and local projects that they feel would benefit from extra funds. It will go towards buying kit and equipment for the walking club and towards sports hall hire fees over the winter.

As a Community Interest Company, ECCH reinvests any surplus resources into its services and into good causes to benefit the local community.
