Practice Education

East Coast Community Healthcare is a Learning Organisation that supports learning and development at all levels. We support the professional training of Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists through our partnership working with local Universities.  Students come to us on their practice placements to develop their clinical skills and experience whilst working with our teams delivering care to patients.

Within the local community we facilitate a work experience program whereby young people in education can apply to gain insight into the range of professions (clinical and non-clinical) that are employed at ECCH. We also support a range of careers events with our Health Ambassadors promoting health careers and information to inspire others about their chosen professions.

East Coast Community Healthcare works within the Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care System and as such we are part of the Partnership, delivering a range of clinical and non-clinical apprenticeships, such as Nursing Associates and Business Administration. We also work alongside local and national organisations to provide the ‘get into healthcare’ program, assisting people to develop core skills and experience as a stepping stone into future employment.
