ECCH runs blood testing services for GP practices in the Waveney area.
We have drop-in clinics in Beccles, Halesworth and Sole Bay, Southwold. At Patrick Stead Hospital in Halesworth phlebotomy opening times are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 12pm.
At Kessingland appointments need to be booked through the GP practice reception and are available Monday to Thursday. At Bungay appointments are available Monday to Friday and also need to be booked through the GP practice reception
The drop-in blood testing service at the James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, Ipswich Hospital, West Suffolk Hospital is for hospital blood testing only.
If you require regular blood tests for an ongoing condition under the care of a consultant team at the acute hospital you should, where possible, get your blood tests performed at the acute hospital that is managing your ongoing condition.
If you require phlebotomy for an outpatient appointment you can get this done any time at the acute hospital when attending the appointment.
