As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to utilise NHS resources in the best way possible, we are offering phlebotomy services on an appointment-only basis.
Appointments can be booked through your regular GP surgery, with the exception of Beccles Medical Practice, whereby patients are asked to call ECCA on 01493 809977 to make their appointment.
We thank you for your understanding. Please check this page for regular updates.
ECCH runs blood testing services for GP practices in the Waveney area.
We have ‘by appointment’ clinics at Beccles, Halesworth, Southwold, Bungay and Kessingland. Please see the drop-down menus below for clinic times and surgery contact details.
The drop-in blood testing service at the James Paget University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, Ipswich Hospital and West Suffolk Hospital is for hospital blood testing only.
If you require regular blood tests for an ongoing condition under the care of a consultant team at the acute hospital, you should, where possible, get your blood tests performed at the acute hospital that is managing your ongoing condition.
If you require phlebotomy for an outpatient appointment, you can get this done any time at the acute hospital when attending the appointment.
Enquiries can be made for all ECCH Phlebotomy services through Beccles Hospital reception on 01502 719800, Monday-Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
